SKF New Zealand Update

In January 2015, Alrik Danielson took up the role of President and CEO for The SKF Group.

Changes were made to our Global structure and this included the merge of SKF’s two Industrial business areas, Strategic Industries and Regional Sales and Service to form the Industrial Market Division. The changes were done to enable the benefits of the SKF asset life cycle to be applied to industrial customers in a more efficient manner, through a simplified organizational structure.

Delivering value at each phase of the asset life cycle

During each phase of the asset life cycle, SKF technologies and services help customers to optimize machine design and performance, reduce energy use and lower the total cost of ownership.

SKF New Zealand is part of the Industrial Market Division and we are certainly focusing on delivering value to our customers through our products and services. We have a strong team to support our asset life cycle initiative, so as to help companies increase their plant reliability, asset life and improve their overall maintenance.

Following our article in November 2014, we have moved to new premises and have settled in very well. We have made a few changes to our team and this included bringing in a new Engineering Team Leader, Johan Larsson who joined us from SKF Sweden in May 2015. Johan has worked for SKF for 19 years and comes with a lot of knowledge and experience.

Johan attended the networking at ABB in June and you will certainly see more of Johan at future NZSBA functions.
