Breakfast Event with Danish Ambassador
On the 25th October we held a Breakfast event with Danish Ambassador, Tom Nørring where he spoke about Technology and The Future of Work with insights into how Denmark is tackling the global challenge.
The well-known Danish architecture firm Schmidt Hammer & Lassen, who are designing the new library in Christchurch, shared some of their insight and projects which everyone really enjoyed.
Guests enjoyed networking over coffee and croissants before learning about Technology and The Future of Work and the need for Government and Business to Work Better Together to Enhance Both.
We had wonderful feedback such as this from Air New Zealand:
"I do want to thank you again for the invite for the Danish Ambassador breakfast, one of my colleagues contacted the organisers yesterday and attended this morning. He spoke of many parallels in our design thinking approach for future ways of working which is very exciting to hear."
and Frank Olsson
"The architecture presentation was very inspirational. Both speakers demonstrated that viewing employees or premises as costs to be minimized misses the point of the upside potential of good skilled people and inspirational premises for the arts or for work places - when work becomes art a new level has been achieved"
